A: There is approximately enough space to slide a piece of paper between the barrel shroud and the barrel. However, when tightened according to instructions, the barrel shroud will not vibrate or rattle.
 
Q: Does the barrel shroud rattle?
A: No. When tightened according to instructions, the barrel shroud will not vibrate or rattle.
 
Q: Does the finish of the barrel shroud match the M&P15-22?
A: The finish is very flat and very black, and we feel that it matches the rifle very closely.
 
Q: Can you anodize the barrel shroud in a different color?
A: Yes, we can do this for $50 for a single piece, but we require a paint sample or color code to match the correct color. We can also ship the raw piece to you, and you can finish it yourself.
