Description
This is a two (2) piece set of Barrel Vise Jaws for the Smith & Wesson M&P15-22 and other rifles, made from 6061 T6 Aluminum Billet.
Stripping the rifle all the way down allows access to every nook and cranny, similar to removing the barrel on a 10/22. However, the upper and/or lower recievers should never be clamped on, or held, when tightening the barrel nut or end-of-barrel accessories on your M&P15-22. Only the barrel should be clamped, or you risk ruining the rifle.
A non-anodized aluminum is used to provide a better grip on the barrel and not mar the finish of your rifle. These are machined specifically for the Smith & Wesson M&P15-22 barrel, but can be used for most any diameter barrel. They just drop into your vise for clamping, are very easy to use, and cost a lot less than repairing or replacing a damaged upper.
NOTE:
If you want to put a standard AR-15 free-floating handguard on your M&P15-22, you'll need these barrel vise jaws hold the barrel.
